The name’s Button, Jenson Button…

Wippo: Last time I wrote about F1 I wondered why I was still watching it. Well, Sunday’s Canadian GP reminded me why, no problem!

Anybody who stuck with and no doubt channel hopped throughout the 6 hour deluge that preceded and persisted during the Canadian GP yesterday was rewarded in rainbutt-loads in the final hour, when the race proper got underway. Jenson Button, whose name makes him sound like he should be James Bond’s understudy, treated us to a thrilling piece of driving during which he pitted 5 times as well as serving a drive through penalty that saw him rejoin the race in last place on lap 40 of 70 from where he somehow managed to pass every car on the track apart from Alonso with whom he blamelessly collided and put out of the race, and race leader the inevitable Sebastian Vettel who was forced into an uncharacteristic error by the pressure Button was exerting and went wide on a corner on the last lap, allowing James Bond Jnr to pass for an unlikely win. Great stuff!

JB's squeeze, Miss Moneypenny

Lewis Hamilton continued his accident magnet properties from Monaco, firstly colliding with Mark Webber, and then putting himself out of the race by trying to get through a disappearing gap between JB’s car and the pit wall. The man is proving himself to be a right tit this season.

Now for a dismissive comment from Clive….

Clive: fucking Coast was cancelled because of this pile of horse wank. Hamilton’s squeeze is a bint and Jenson Button has a stupid name. Let’s have some real sport.

Wippo: Just you wait ’til you wibble about golf….
